Selection Procedure

Selection will be based on performance in Written Test & Interview.
Written Test consist two papers

Paper -I : General Knowledge, Current Affairs, General Science of 50 Marks and General Hindi of 50 Marks.
Paper -II : Mathematics of 50 Marks and amaant of 50 Marks.

Fees-> Application Fees is Rs. 100/- for SC/ ST and Rs. 375/- for Gen/ OBC .

Application Fees to be paid through Bank challan at any branch of State Bank of India.
How to Apply->

Candidates are required to registered himself with user id & password by going on online registration portal of Bihar SSC.
After registration make payment of fees at any branch of SBI by fees challan on or before Mar  11, 2014.
Login with user id & password and fill application form with mentioning all details correctly and carefully on or before Mar 13, 2013.
After successfully submission of online application form take a printout of application form and retained himself for future use.
No need to send any hard copy to the commission.

हाल के वर्षो में बिहार सरकार ने सामाजिक व आर्थिक मोरचे पर बदलाव के लिए जो कोशिशें की हैं, उनके नतीजे दिखने लगे हैं. इसमें मूलभूत सुविधाओं के विकास और शिक्षा में तेजी की बड़ी भूमिका है. शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में सरकार ने जो काम किया है, दूसरे राज्य उसे देख कर अनुकरण कर रहे हैं. अब हर पंचायत में उच्च माध्यमिक स्कूल खोलने का सरकार का प्रयास, एक नयी और महत्वपूर्ण पहल के रूप में लोगों के सामने है.
इससे पहले लड़कियों को साइकिल देने के फैसले ने समाज में एक क्रांतिकारी बदलाव की झलक पेश की है. बड़ी संख्या में लड़कियों ने स्कूलों का रुख किया है. पोशाक, साइकिल व छात्रवृत्ति आदि ने छात्र-छात्रओं के स्कूली जीवन को काफी सहज-सरल बनाया है, इसमें दो राय नहीं. हाल के वर्षो में जिन विद्यार्थियों को इन सुविधाओं ने स्कूलों की ओर आकर्षित किया है, उनके एक बड़े समूह को अब पढ़ने-लिखने के लिए हाइस्कूल के बाद के विकल्प की जरूरत है. अच्छी बात है कि सरकार ने इस आवश्यकता को महसूस किया है.
ऐसे विकल्प पेश करने को तैयार भी है. हर पंचायत में उच्च माध्यमिक स्कूल खोले जाने के सरकारी प्रयास से सूबे में शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में हुए बदलाव को और तेजी मिलने की संभावना प्रबल है. हाइस्कूल के बाद छात्र जीवन से कट जानेवाले विद्यार्थियों को इससे काफी बल मिलनेवाला है. इस फैसले का सबसे महत्वपूर्ण असर लड़कियों की शिक्षा-दीक्षा पर पड़ना तय है. जो लड़कियां अपने गांव या पड़ोसी गांव के हाइस्कूल में पढ़-लिख कर जैसे-तैसे 10वीं के बाद बोर्ड की परीक्षा पास कर लेती थीं, उनका एक समूह 11वीं-12वीं की पढ़ाई और उच्च शिक्षा से वंचित रह जाता था.
क्योंकि हर लड़की के लिए शहरों में या दूर-दराज कहीं जाकर अथवा रह कर पढ़ाई-लिखाई कर पाना संभव नहीं होता. आर्थिक-सामाजिक कारणों के चलते. पर, अगर हर पंचायत में उच्च माध्यमिक स्कूल का इंतजाम हो जाये, तो कम से कम 12वीं तक पढ़ने-लिखने की गांवों की लड़कियों की चिंता दूर हो जाये. इसका एक और बड़ा लाभ होगा. वह यह कि 11वीं-12वीं तक की पढ़ाई-लिखाई के बाद इनका आत्मविश्वास और भी बढ़ जायेगा. यह बढ़ा हुआ आत्मविश्वास आगे की पढ़ाई में इनके लिए मददगार हो सकता है.
